“This is Brienne and Tim from New Zealand. They live in Greenpoint, Brooklyn and had one of the dopest weddings I’ve ever been a part of. Tim is a guitarist from Steriogram (might remember this song) and they had a reunion show at the wedding.”
how brilliant. and how perfect really.
all thanks to my bro from another mo
for sending in one last one. love that this one was so genuine and heartfelt. from the quiet moments as the bride and groom have a moment to themselves to the fun reunion and dance party at the end. Chaz has a knack for capturing the stories so well and so beautifully. some of my personal friends have gotten the chance to be captured by him and it makes me so proud that i’ve given my friends the chance to be shot by some ridiculous talent. more from Chaz can be seen over on HIS BLOG.
additionally, Chaz literally is my brother and i’ve become his annoying little sister. i nag him to do certain things and he just shakes my head when i’m up to no good. i always look forward to hanging out with him though whenever i visit NYC or he’s over on the West Coast. he serenades me in a Louis Armstrong voice and that pretty much makes each visit complete. i’ve also had the distinct pleasure to assist Chaz for a wedding. no i didn’t pick up a camera, unless you count an instax and my own iphone capture. but i literally was his shadow and helped carry his bags. it truly was a gift to see this guy in action and just see how his mind worked on making sure that he captures his couples in the best and most true way possible. it was probably one of my best experiences from having this blog. my heart was full. it was icing on a cake to see a wedding photographer get it done and what my blog was all about coming to life. it probably was not icing on the cake for Chaz having me break out in my spontaneous dance parties the entire day though.
either way, thank you Chaz for an incredible friendship the past few years. i am truly thankful to have you around and to be able to witness the beauty and joy you are able to capture and take it beyond. you stay under the radar and remain so humble, but i hope you know how lucky i feel to call you family and how my heart beams from the sidelines with every image you put out there. thank you for the love and support you’ve given this blog and myself. oh and for my very own custom #tcogtfo confetti.
as a reminder, all the last features on this blog are dedicated to those wedding photographers that sit on the blog’s sidebar. since i never believed i could guarantee bookings, i never have asked these guys to pay for advertising. yet, they still wanted to be on here and call the sidebar home. it genuinely has been my pleasure to have them on here every day. each of them are immensely talented wedding photographers so throughout these last few weeks, please do me a favor and check out their work. it’s the tiniest token of thanks i can give these guys.
