{real wedding} rustic elegance at rancho las lomas

"Since weddings are all about old and new families and tradition, I loved trying to create an antiquey feel, reminiscent  of weddings of past generations.  That's how everything became lace.  Then we added scabiosa pods and twig to everything as a rustic touch,"

"Several of my favorite moments were from the ceremony--the excitement of hearing the knock on the bridal room door, signaling "It's time!",  seeing Ryan's face light up when he first saw me,  making eye contact with several smiling guests on the walk down the aisle and from the altar, pausing throughout the ceremony to take it all in.  Then, before the reception, we loved being whisked away through the property to be photographed, capturing our first hours together as man and wife.  Special moments with my brothers and wedding party while waiting outside for the grand entrance.  Seeing the pride in my father's eyes both walking down the aisle and during our dance. Just being with Ryan.  And definitely the sing-along we had planned for the last song, all of our friends and family, arms around each other's shoulders, circled up and belting out "A Little Help from My Friends".  Priceless."

congratulations to Kristin and Ryan!
